Andrew Bill, is the original creator of the world of Enchantica, without him there would be no collection.
Andrew has a Diploma in industrial ceramics which he received while at the Stafford College of Art, he then worked as a freelance sculptor doing work for the likes of Coalport.
He started working for Holland Studio Craft in October 1987 where he worked on the 'Natures Heritage' series where his first ever sculpture was 'Mouse on a Honey pot' but the important thing to us is the Enchantica part of his time at HSC.
The first piece of Enchantica sculpted by Andrew was "EN2000 Rattajack - Please" and this was the beginning of the world of Enchantica. Over his time with HSC (and finally Royal Doulton) Andrew sculpted 117 pieces and wrote four novels until he left the company on May the 22nd 2000 but this wasn't the end of his relationship with fantasy figures because in May 2001 Andrew launched his new range called Verbum Magus which saw the reuniting of Phil Holland and Andrew, much to the delight of many fantasy collectors.
A few years later after Adrian Donati took over from Phil Holland as UK owner of the dragonsite Andrew was commissioned to create two other ranges for them to run alongside his verbuMMagus range, the small "Bookwyrms" and the large British made pieces "Seven Sins"
Andrew does have interests other than Fantasy which includes amateur dramatics and fencing, he also has a keen interest in wildlife but he is often far too busy sculpting to enjoy any of these pastimes.
